Home Community Based Services Program (HCBS)
Designed to allow individual to remain in their homes instead of alternative living arrangements such as nursing homes.
This program provides personal care workers (PCW) / relative personal care workders (RPCW) homemakers to come into your home to provide personal care / homemaker services.
It is a non-skilled service which means care that does not require a physicians order, or care from any other health care professional. (CNA, Nurse, Therapist)
To qualify for this program you must be on Medicaid.
An intention of the HCDS program is Dual Medical Equipment (DME).
